About CJS
Mission Statement
Our mission is to advance and defend Judeo-Christian principles of human dignity and social justice in law, policy and the public square.
Our desire is to bring attention and an alternative voice to issues pertaining to social justice. We seek to improve the quality of life of our nation’s citizens through research, education, and advocacy aimed at assisting lawmakers, the media, and citizens in building and sustaining a just society. Our efforts to shape public policy and debate can be seen and measured by the Center’s research projects, publications, media interviews and educational events.
- We believe human dignity is of equal importance to the unborn, the elderly and individuals at all stages of life in between.
- We believe each individual, regardless of societal status, is equal before the law.
- We believe individuals, businesses, and public institutions should be held accountable for their actions.
- We believe a just society orders itself based upon the moral and ethical views of its people and that all laws invariably reflect a moral and ethical point of view.
Our approach to issues and legislation is shaped by a Judeo-Christian worldview. This unique view of the nature of man and the role of government offers the greatest protections and the greatest freedoms for all members of a pluralistic society, not just people of faith.
